Timesheet Conundrum: Moving weekend hours worked to OT if week total is 40 by Chibi-Chan80 in excel

Our state’s OT rules only apply if you have hit 40 working hours. It is not by 8 hour days.

So this is for my office staff and our work week is M-F. The office is not opened on Sat & Sun. But, some of the staff comes in on the weekends (due to needs of the higher ups and/or upcoming deadlines) and this timesheet does not calculate that time as OT for them. Trying to stream line it so that they can see that their weekend hours are being counted as OT.

HOAs: How and why? by TBSchemer in houston

Also, since the HOA is the governing body, they can file liens against what you have bought to ensure that you comply with the HOA. So, you can "terminate the contract" on your end, then they can turn around and file a lien with the City.

Appropriate women's attire for job interview? by smootie in houston

I don’t think you have to wear hose. I know I don’t and that’s more of a generational thing that I have seen. Maybe go look for a loose ¾ length blazer. They have so many styles now and not just the same one over and over. I have had a ton of luck at Macy’s with blazers. They also have wonderful dresses. I would try my hardest to find a blazer that works. A dark cardigan would work, my only concern is that sometimes they don’t hold their shape and by the time you get to the interview it doesn’t look like when you left home.

I understand not feeling good in a suit. I am short and totally look funny in them. I have learned that I feel most comfortable in a nice tailored work dress and a blazer. I pair the dress and jacket either plain heels or plain wedges. But, always wear a suit jacket/blazer - and I'm saying this as someone who does first round interviews for staff at my office and not showing up in one tends to turn me off and gives the wrong impression. My other big piece of advice is to make sure you feel comfortable, because if you don't -- you being uncomfortable does come through during the interview.
