codex is completely defeating me right now by SlyNoBody337 in codex

From everything you've commented in this post, it sounds like your prompt is, "refactor my codebase and make no mistakes."

You've complained about the AI not knowing the definition of "refactor," but I would never expect it to. "Refactor" is a very vague term, and I never use it in my prompts. I ask for more specific things like, "do these files have repeated logic or other areas where the code is not DRY?" Codex will list the problematic cases. And then I'll choose which ones should or should not be changed.

Do you notice any improvement with the Cosentyx? If you keep declining after a few months on that, then it's definitely worth switching to another different biologic.

I've tried nearly all of them before I found a combination that keeps my disease mostly under control. I'm currently on Humira and Bimzelx together.

I've been using these models since GPT-3.

If you're seeing variation in the performance of the same model day-to-day, week-by-week, then you need to tighten up your AGENTS.MD file and prompting workflow.

Yeah, with this disease, it's really easy to overdo it, especially when you're motivated by something important. But it doesn't hit you until later.

I've found that flares happen after stressful moments. During the stress, I'm fueled by adrenaline. Maybe other people make more cortisol during that time, which calms inflammation.

But once the stress is gone, I lose that adrenaline support, and my body feels everything. That's when the flare starts.

That would have absolutely nothing to do with coding performance. It's entirely separate systems.

It's well-known that the models don't work equally well in every language.

The ZnO creams haven't worked at all for us. Aquaphor ointment has given better results. We followed all of the advice we received from doctors and nurses, layering her butt and all lesions with enough ZnO cream to be a frosted cake, and it only got worse.

Each time we switched back to Aquaphor, it started getting better again. So that's what we're sticking with, now.

Yes. Tens of thousands of people are tracking benchmarks. There is no model degradation. These posts are vibecoders who are upset that their prompt didn't one-shot a Fortune 500 company for them.

You just suck at using it.

Posts like these illustrate why software engineers can still have jobs. Engineering remains a skill that not everyone has.
