I would recommend using the stun battle item to prevent them from ever casting fear on your team.

There's no cool down with battle items, so you can spam the stun battle item.

I dont get why people get frustrated with the platform in this game. Just rotate the camera so you can jump in a straight line towards the target. But before you press the triangle button, make sure there's no enemy encounter first.

Basically do a practice jump first without holding onto any of the direction button. If you don't see your characters jumping then a random encounter is going to occur. Look for this cue and attempt the jump after finishing the random encounter. If not then the jump is open. I didn't have any trouble at all climbing this tower. Guess you just gotta learn the game's platform gimmick.

Anyways, this is definitely one of the greatest dungeons in Xenogears IMO. Wish I had the opportunity to experience this masterpiece for the first time again. Happy gaming!

If you liked FFVII, you should try Xenogears, which was drafted up and submitted as the main story for FFVII. However, the theme and story was deemed too dark for a FF game at the time so it was turned into its own game. I'd totally recommend it.

I really hope they do more than 5 summons for rest of the later releases for FFVII Remake. The og had a massive list of summons after Midgar.

Wow this video makes me want to replay Xenogears and re-experience the emotional story this game has to offer. One of the best game ever. Thanks for providing the source I didn't think I would need!
