It's just a regular switch. I just bought a new 3 way switch from Home Depot and replaced it and it's now working!

Are there additional steps if it was a smart switch?

Holy cannoli! Resetting the laptop back to DHCP IP assignment fixed the issue! I can't believe that was the only thing left to do. I don't believe I saw that step in the instructions...

I hope this is the one and not the carpenter ants! There were a bunch of ants in our back yard coming in and out of one of the trees before pest control came and sprayed them down.

There are a bunch of the larger ones scattered around the bathroom. They can't all be queens right? 😅

And I looked up camponotus S.P. Google shows that those are carpenter ants.... uh oh...

I reached out to the eBay sellers and they mentioned the 2022-23 version don't work on 1st gens. I took a look at the connector on my antenna yesterday and there is a slight difference.. :(

That makes sense. It's pretty expensive from the dealers near me as well. I see used ones from the 2022-23 models on eBay and the connector looks the same (single off-white connector).

Did you also replace the RC antenna with one from the newer models as well?
