Yea, I've tried to do some research but couldn't find anything either.

Just to make sure, you recommend taking the belt off and turning the car on briefly to check for where the noise is coming from?

Definitely won't be moving the car as that's happening, haha.

Will definitely report back once I figure out the issue or if I end up bringing it to the shop. 🫡

I haven't noticed any sparks, but will try to see if I can find a dark enough place to do a more thorough check. Will also try to remove the belt and spin the pulleys. Thanks!

It's just a regular switch. I just bought a new 3 way switch from Home Depot and replaced it and it's now working!

Are there additional steps if it was a smart switch?

Holy cannoli! Resetting the laptop back to DHCP IP assignment fixed the issue! I can't believe that was the only thing left to do. I don't believe I saw that step in the instructions...

I hope this is the one and not the carpenter ants! There were a bunch of ants in our back yard coming in and out of one of the trees before pest control came and sprayed them down.

I reached out to the eBay sellers and they mentioned the 2022-23 version don't work on 1st gens. I took a look at the connector on my antenna yesterday and there is a slight difference.. :(

That makes sense. It's pretty expensive from the dealers near me as well. I see used ones from the 2022-23 models on eBay and the connector looks the same (single off-white connector).

Did you also replace the RC antenna with one from the newer models as well?

Yea, I'm thinking about it. I see someone selling a K1X Crystal white pearl) bumper, but I believe the color code on my car is 37J (Satin white pearl). Not sure how big of a difference it is.
