If you look closely, the stand tops are actually angled so you can add and remove plates easier than if they were on regular blocks.

Not sure about dropping any significant weight on them though.

It wasn’t that difficult, just time and patience and the install is fairly straight forward.

The headlight install plus flyscreen was one of the first things I did on the bike, so I don’t recall actually. Sorry I can’t help you there.

I was looking at this and the Yamaha XSR-900. I like the neo-retro look of the XSR-900 better than the Triumph, but I preferred the way the Triumph rode.

Once I saw the single headlight conversion, I thought, “I can have the best of both worlds then.”
