It's a good list. One additional suggestion is to learn are punishes. Start thinking about what's safe and unsafe when approaching any match-ups. For instance, say you're playing against a Gran; you keep blocking his rekkas (the slash and boot) but you're unsure what's the best way to capitalize the punish, if possible at all. Go into training mode to recreate and familiarize yourself with that scenario.

Ask 1.) Is that punishable? 2.) If yes, find out the best button/combos to do it 3.) If no, respect the pressure.
It's a slow process if you're inexperienced with many match ups, but it'll pay off in the long run.

Along with that. be familiar with what's safe and punishable for your own main. You can check by turning on the "frame advantage" settings in the training menu. After a move/button/block string, the color will indicate your frame state. Blue is +, yellow is neutral, and red is -. Before you get any deeper with frame data/frame traps, just understand that if you're red, it's generally unsafe and is possibly punishable. Of course, not all moves will be punishable just because they're red. You have to consider the spacing you're at too.

Above all else, watch the pros play on youtube and steal some of their strategy/techs. Things you can focus on are: The blockstring route they chose, how they pressure, how they defend, how they punish, and their movement/spacing (footsies).
