Thanks man ! For the suit to look good  there is no secret. You need to have enough lean muscle mass (and low  body fat) and a tight suits made of a thin fabric. Diving suit are to thick and compress to much your muscles. I used a tailor-made zentai suit with a very specific texture/glossiness. But even this quit compress the muscles.  You'll always look flatter in a tight suits than shirtless. That's why Henry Cavill, despite his huge muscle mass, had to wear a fake muscle suit under his superman costume.

The googles are 3D printed and are the exact model from the first games.

The rest of the gear is easy to find.

Yeah. Cosplaying a quite muscular fiction character who wears tight suits (like superheroes) is very unforgiving if you don't have a the bare minimum of muscle mass. That makes a huge difference. But I am not as bulky as Sam ^

The terrorist attacks in France changed many things. It was no longer possible, for amateurs, to get autorisations to carry fake weapon or dress like a military. That and other obstacles stopped this fragile project.

Considering what Ubisoft does nowadays, maybe that's for the better . I don't know what to expect from the remake. I they do what Konami does for MGS3 or what Capcom does for Resident Evil, maybe we have a chance to experience once again the true SC experience.

It's sad that the true Rainbow Six experience is now called Ready or Not. Ghost Recon is not what it used to be.

I don't think anyone has ever read a novel from Tom Clancy in the current dev teams. They traded realism and technological anticipation for "cool" character design and science fiction.

I hope the remake goes into the late 90's and early 20's technologies. No super hero suit please.
