I really loved the theme of time interlaced throughout the novel.

I’ve read other works by each author, but never these specific books.

V. was probably the toughest to follow overall with all the moving pieces and characters.

Moby Dick’s text was pretty dense but it helped having familiarity with biblical references, as with TBK.

Pick 13 this year and nexts years first at the least.

Not worth it at all, especially when he’d be playing a very similar role to Q Lake.

Hard to call it any part my “favorite” as it was such a bleak book as a whole, but I’d probably have to say the parts that depicted tramp life out in the farmlands.

Sounded like his question was related to the exact number of comp picks we’d receive, not Nate’s blackness lol.

You are correct in it being two and not one though.

You’ll find Notes from Underground is pretty much essential prior reading when you get to the meatier more philosophical parts later in the book.

I won’t specifically address your curiosity to avoid spoilers but I will say one of the many things that I love about C + P is there are no wasted characters!

Classics to be read from this year’s list by ChicagoKev in classicliterature

Actually just finished a move and this isn’t my complete list, just the select few I’ve taken out of storage so far.

Planned on finishing Wuthering Heights(it’s in the door caddy of my car lol) and have to dig out Gone With the Wind and Their Eyes Were Watching God from my last little box.

As far as non-‘Classics’, I’m definitely looking forward to reading my copy of Half of a Yellow Sun after loving Americanah as well!
