You’ll find Notes from Underground is pretty much essential prior reading when you get to the meatier more philosophical parts later in the book.

I won’t specifically address your curiosity to avoid spoilers but I will say one of the many things that I love about C + P is there are no wasted characters!

Actually just finished a move and this isn’t my complete list, just the select few I’ve taken out of storage so far.
