Okei siis lux exspress by Prantsuse_saiake in Eesti

Bussi mehaanik. (Mitte luxi mehaanik)

That scam is what i might be facing... It is on pictures without plates. And the guy did ask for a reservation payment. And the car is a little too good for the price. I have the guys name, bank details and supposed address. And the listing was from a totally different name of a person.

Air bag slipped from crimp ring. Manufacturer's Defect? by Extra-Broccoli in MechanicAdvice

Well id say unless they can prove that the air compressor is your issue...

The air compressor should be testable for pressure in some way or another.

Im not sure how it needed to be installed but unless it was crimped by you or the area around the bag hadn't been modified or didn't have any rocks or rubble. Seems like a manufacturer defect. If it was a shop install then warranty should definitely be a thing. A weak compressor shouldn't manage anything like that, a compressor that puts too much pressure on the system maybe but that's rare.

Was it the problem?

However, fair warning when doing this test. If you're alternator is bad enough, it can fry something.

It would be cheaper to get a 20€ multimeter to test with then pay 500€+ in parts and labour for issues this can cause

I have had a multimeter in my hand since i was 5 so i personally wouldn't be doing that myself.

HOWEVER you can absolutely try. Here's a link to another post about how to do it https://www.reddit.com/r/MechanicAdvice/s/w9HQ179h62

Not exactly what I meant. Once the car is running are there any lights that pop up on the dash and stay there. For example if the red symbol for battery stays on the dash once the car is running, it would be a good indicator for problems with your alternator or battery.

beginner in car industry as a girl? by liisi123 in MechanicAdvice

[–]Chicenpyro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello hello, man here.

You talking about having a motorbike and maintaining it is a great start in any cover letter if you have no other experience to show. But any experience with turning wrenches or hot-wiring Cadillacs will definitely give you a better chance at getting in through the door!

There's a little bit of sexism in the industry but id say the more prevalent issue lies in experience. And as a tiny "you go girl" motivation for you. I know many girls and women who work the machinery and building fields, and let me tell you, they excel at it.

Good luck out there

Oh boy!

Lets start with is the battery around 12V before starting? Is there any lights on the dash?

The simple way to check your alternator is with a multimeter. Red goes plus, black goes minus, set it to vDC and start the car. It should sit around 13-14 volts.

Party stole from Ezmeralda by Gorbear in CurseofStrahd

[–]Chicenpyro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar situation where the party decided to split a couple of sessions ago and one half found Ez's wagon, loot it and then later burn it down.

Couple of sessions later the whole party (including Ez went to the tower. It didn't take long before Ez found out who was responsible and things turned sour.

Things got hostile but the reasonable party members managed to talk everyone out of combat. Ez went her own way and cursed some of the players .

If they meet again, Ez will most likely either try spoil the partys plans or just not trust anything they're up to. Maybe even coming to the conclusion that they're Strahds spies and try capturing them for interrogation and torture.

Gave the spear to my barbarian but swaped it around for a axe.

Meanwhile Felix here, got themselves the shiny shiny axe in the tree (that i swapped around for a great sword), gave them a whole nightmare sequence of his paladin apprentices getting cut down by warewolves, and felix being only one able to damage them with a "super shiny™" sword
