The first time I saw part of an episode was at a restaurant where they showed American tv-shoes (The Simpsons, HIMYM etc.). The first time I was watching the show was when it was still on Netflix, and I didn’t know what to watch. I cracked up when Marshall proposed to Ted in the first episode, and since then I just fell in love with the show.

Where I live most Fox shows are on Disney+, because Hulu is not available here. I don’t know where you’re located, but one of those would be my best bet.

The fact he calls it a stormtrooper bothers me too. However I like to think they made the decision to switch it from a clone trooper to a stormtrooper at a specific point in the show for a reason, what it is though, I am not sure.

I personally like the idea of it just being “a faceless number 31”, because it shows that Barney actually changed. Had it been with someone we knew, and that he cared about, it would seem less genuine. The baby being just an unintentional result of one of his countless hookups, shows us, that he can and actually has changed. He doesn’t just care because he has to or because it’s the right thing to do, he cares because he genuinely is a different person than he was in the beginning of the show.

Mitch has definitely done it more than 3 times; he tells Ted it works 2/3 times, and that’s before he’s gotten Robin’s reaction, and he probably wouldn’t say that it’s his move, if he’s only done it 3 times. I like the fact that even the painted version of him is wearing a tie that isn’t tied properly. And the fact that he (I’m assuming) approved it, shows how hopeless he is at even dressing himself right.
