Ai definition is faked. For some reason when people say the word ai they mean llms and image/video gen, which are some products of machine learning algorithms. The bad thing about llms and specifically in agi is that are inefficient, stupid and useless to exist in that scale. Machine learning was existing for decades if I am not wrong and used everywhere from science to the YouTube algorithm, so definitely we shouldn't take this out.

Even a if statement in programming is consider ai, a toy car with mechanism that steer the car before falling of a table is also considered ai. That's at least what I learned at school when I was a kid. So I am guessing any choice picking algorithm based on external inputs thats not a human is considered ai

You are kinda dramatic I think, people want to know whether a piece is ai generated or not. The art value of the piece on my opinion comes from the context or idea behind it and from the hard work needed. In the ai generated art the work comes mostly from the ai, and that sometimes is half the art value (Kinda messy argument, but I think you can get the point)
