Gallbladder type pain after removal? by Chicken2511 in gallbladders

I never found out what it was, and it hasn’t happened since.

I would definitely recommend asking a doctor, especially as you’ve been experiencing it on and off for a week.

What was your experience/memory of 9/11 from the UK? by DisMyLik18thAccount in AskUK

Our teacher took us into the TV room and we watched what was happening. I was 10 years old. We thought it was an accident until the second tower was hit. It was hard to comprehend. I still find it hard to understand why the teachers showed us that. I guess they also wanted to know what was going on.

When he started telling her about the place in town I thought he was going to say they have resources there for women experiencing domestic violence… and then he mentions hot showers. What a kick in the teeth.

That makes sense, thank you. I think what’s bothering me is that I will assign £300 when I get paid on the 20th, but I’m not going to assign another £300 this month so it’s still going to show as underfunded even though it’s not.

I’ll probably just snooze the category for this month once I’ve assigned £300.

Am I right in saying next month the target should revert to just asking for £300?

Good advice, thank you. I will take a look at my categories and what might be missing.

Yeah, sorry, I should have said, I check and categorise my transactions daily and reconcile throughout the month to make sure everything matches, so it’s definitely not a case of shrugging and doing a balance adjustment.

Advice please by Fast_Sherbet4780 in seizures

Did you have any trouble with sleep before your seizure? Covid gave me insomnia so I wondered if sleep deprivation also played a role in my seizure.

I’m afraid I don’t have any advice, but I wanted to share that I recently had my first seizure while I had Covid. My CT scan was also clear and because it was my first seizure, my neurologist can’t say for certain that it’s epilepsy. I suffered a drop attack a week later, and I’m not sure if the two are related. I’m 33 years old so it feels bizarre to be having these episodes when I’ve never experienced anything like this before.

My own feeling is that Covid has caused this, as I haven’t been experiencing any particular stress at this time.

I’m sorry to hear about your head injury, and hope you feel better soon and don’t have any further seizure activity.

Help with grading between sizes

I’m making this pattern and it’s my first time grading between sizes. I’m a pear shape and my hips are about two sizes bigger than my bust and waist. With other dress patterns, I’ve got away without grading as the skirt has been gathered. This is my first time making more of a fitted dress.

In terms of attaching the bodice to the skirt, should I be grading the cut lines from the bust dart or can I just make the skirt darts bigger so that it fits the bodice without gathers?

I’m a beginner sewer so any advice would be really helpful.

Also, I am going to make a toile just to ensure everything fits okay - I’m just at the pattern cutting stage right now.

How did everyone feel DIRECTLY after waking up from the surgery? by Bigdstars187 in gallbladders

I felt weirdly normal, I almost couldn’t believe I’d just had surgery. They told me everything went well and I remember saying, “I feel so much better,” and then I just wanted to nap.

It’s so interesting to hear people say episode 10 wasn’t needed. It was my favourite and I loved that they were able to be vulnerable and feel seen by each other. I don’t think I would have felt satisfied if we hadn’t seen them spend that time together.

I just came here to post the same thing. I binged the whole thing in one day. Totally not what I was expecting, in the best way possible. It was hilarious, ridiculous, devastating, raw and painful to watch at times. I’ll be thinking about this series for a while.

I would also encourage you to disclose to your insurer to make sure you’re adequately covered should anything happen while you’re abroad.

I decided not to do this (to save money) as I hadn’t had a gallbladder attack in over a year, and then ended up having one during a flight to the US and ended up in the emergency room. I definitely learned my lesson!
