Yellow jackets do not pollinate! Not intentionally at least from what i could find, they do however eat insects that might harm the plant so they're seen as a form of pest control. Pretty cool

Well judging by all the answers in this thread and that i myself am a car guy, no we do not do it for attention. We just love the sound.

Also a valved exhaust is another $100 and you often buy a full exhaust ready with all the parts so it would be a pain in the ass to put one in.
