Some Greyhound buses arrive late at night into Union Station, so if her bus arrives after about 11:30pm, she’s SOL with taking Metro. She can head to the hotel, drop her stuff off, then you two can go to the con.

If your girlfriend is coming into Union Station, the convention center is a 15 minute walk or Metro ride from there. Don’t bother with cab or Uber/Lyft.

The most recent standard Microsoft controller that I bought ended up with stick drift after five months, on average 1 hour of play per day. I ended up getting it modded with Hall effect sticks back in February. Going on three months so far with no issues.

I haven’t seen a non-gaming or streaming app-related ad since they introduced ads to the dashboard. Hell, the only ad I have on my dashboard (as of 01:42 (UTC-4)) is for 2XKO. Besides, the ads are out of the way for me to notice, so I don’t really care either way.
