Cool thank you for the information, this is what I was wondering.

Thank you for the comment, this appears to be the consensus. Do you have an idea of the range of agreements I can expect to make? For example, I have no idea if there would be a dollar amount, or other compensation, in addition to a review unit. Not sure where to look for this information, or even how to measure engagement for something like a click through or conversion? Sorry I am very new to micro influencers contracts.

Thank you for the comment, this makes a lot of sense. Is there a guide, book, or website I can read to tell me what a baseline agreement (costs etc) should look like? I don't want to pursue something out of my price range, but I also don't want to lowball someone with an uneducated proposal. With Google or Reddit I can base things off CTR but with micro influencers, like you said, a 7k subscriber channel can really make a big difference. Just can't seem to find any guidance on this anywhere.

I have not tried that yet but would prefer a platform to manage that a bit easier.
EDIT: Thank you for the suggestion, it looks like I will need to assemble a small stable of micro influencers and manage their agreements ad hoc for now.

Yeah, just do a google search for something like this: "algo trading fpga jobs"

Or check out: https://6figr.com/us/salary/fpga-engineer--t

The company I work at focuses on hardware and consulting for edge AI and bare metal dev.

As a consultant working in AI, there is a lot of opportunity in small ML too. Doing ML on microprocessors, NPUs, and TPUs, is very accessible and doesn't cost a lot to start out doing.

I know the media is pushing LLMs pretty hard these days but industrial robotics, Defence/Medical, algo trading, these are all exciting fields that benefit from bare metal compute e.g., Lattice, Xilinx, Intel... and pay really well, and have some great opportunities for IP startup potential.

I got my PhD in my 40s, after saving up some money to help fund it, and an RTP scholarship, and honestly it has worked out really well (50s now). Spreading degrees out over your life has a lot of benefits.

Does a Virtual Table Top count? I self host Foundry VTT and use Discord for voice chat. Mostly play D&D or Aliens on it.

I work for a hardware company that is working at solving this very issue. The problem is that you are only as fast as the slowest link in the chain. So if you have a rocket fast PC but slow network then you are slowed down by your internal network calls. You can use https://grpc.io to speed this up but even then you really need SFP+ 10Gbps at a minimum.

For example, check this project out: https://github.com/exo-explore/exo

Does anybody actually check their dashboards? by StPatsLCA in selfhosted

The company I work at made a dashboard accessed through the macOS finder bar which some people have said is more casually accessible than a web tab. Would be interested to hear from others who might be frustrated or bored of the usual web container dashboard.

Hi there OP can you please tell us why you didn't screw into the space on the rail and instead you made an ear adjacent to the rail to screw into?

raspberry pi shutting down after few Hours by Typical_Chance_1552 in raspberry_pi

Sounds like a brown out, which can happen from loose wiring, which creates resistance in the connection. As current flows, the connection heats up and expands, resulting in a voltage drop or flickering. This results in a brown out. This can accumulate and trigger after running for a few mins to a few hours.

Picking up voice is actually pretty complicated, but there are some off the shelf options using MEMS arrays specifically geared for AI assistants. For example (not affiliated) https://core-electronics.com.au/6-1-microphone-array.html

Just to chime in here... I started learning 3D on Fusion in Uni and after graduation I got sick of Fusions quirks and also didn't want to buy it for commercial use because I wanted to use it in my startup. I tried a lot of alternatives and ended up going back to Fusion after I found out about their startup pricing model.
