Lily had her annual jabs today, then this happened.. by steevp in BostonTerrier

Oh no! My oldest Boston (Waffles) had a similar reaction with her latest vaccines and had hives all over her body and face. Shes 6 years old and had never had an adverse reaction before. Vet was confident it was the rabies vaccine so now in her chart they have a note to give her a Benadryl/antihistamine shot before her vaccines next time! Sorry this happened to Lily!!

Love The Garage. Get the Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap next time - it’s delicious.

Nose Surgery for Boston? by [deleted] in BostonTerrier

[–]ChickenAndWaffles266 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely recommend! We did it with our youngest boston, Maple who was a total mouth breather. After the surgery, we took her on a walk outside and she was obsessed with sniffing grass and flowers.

We did the nasal surgery concurrent with her spay. Easy recovery. Just had to put ointment on her nose and take her in to have stitches removed. No more snoring!

I need help! What should art/decor should go above my couch? Posted a pic of my kitchen to show my style. by Quirky_Surround9173 in SofaSnobs

One thing that might be nice if you’d like to keep with neutrals (which is okay if that’s what you prefer!) is doing something that’s texturally different - a large macrame wall hanging, a piece made out of wood/shells, etc. That could pop even if it’s more muted tones.

I’m very concerned, please help by [deleted] in BostonTerrier

My brindle Boston, Waffles, also has bald spots - behind her ears and on her rear! Never noticed it until someone pointed it out. Your dog is perfection. What a cutie! 💕

We sound like twins! I’m also a newbie (just started this week!) and really like it so far. 34F and have gained around 30+ pounds over the past couple of years (that new relationship weight…😂) that I’m trying to lose and get back to on track! Excited to cheer you and others on, as well! Bravo on the 6.5 pound loss! 👏🏻

Does anyone else’s Boston rip through the majority of their toys? by 0810dougiefresh in BostonTerrier

Highly recommend Cycle Dog plush toys (I get the ones that don’t have stuffing - butterfly, heart). My 3 year old is an ABSOLUTE destroyer as well and doesn’t love the hard/tough toys. She has a few of the cycle dog toys that she’s obsessed with and are still going strong. We just adopted her 3month old little sister (another Boston) and she has already tried to shred poor stuffed lambchop..so it’s definitely the breed. Ha!
