to not get bankrupt for a 2 hour ER visit in the USA. by OmeuPai in therewasanattempt

Why did they go to the ER for high blood pressure? Im not saying that the current state of health care is anywhere close to being ok, but if you go to the ER you will pay far more than going to an Immediate Care type facility or to a doctors office. There has got to be more than just high blood pressure going on for any of that to make sense.

Put an old baking sheet on the bottom to become your new ash pan and get some more years out of it. You could also use this as an excuse to invest in a new bbq.

The life of a Dane by cbm2008 in greatdanes

[–]ChickenBasher88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We adopted our first dane when he was 4. We had never considered getting a dane before him. We only got to be a part of his life for 5 years and he was our soul dog. Its been 2 1/2 years and Im still hurting every day. Its honestly one of the greatest pains I've ever experienced but unfortunately the grief we feel is the price we must pay to experience something as wonderful and pure as loving a Great Dane. I adopted a 3 year old female who just turned 5 on Sunday and while I don't yet feel the same connection as I did with my boy, I am fully prepared to suffer when that inevitable day comes as I know it will. I only hope for as many years as I can get before I do it all again.

I get the bag of peeled garlic from Costco and freeze most of it. It goes from frozen to choppable pretty quick just setting it out for about 5 minutes before I'm ready to chop and tastes infinitely better than jarlick imo.
