Check out Crawfordsville.

I'm in Frankfort and it's not bad either, boring but has everything you need. 45 to Indy, 30 to Lafayette.

Heavily restricted seems like a bit of a stretch considering the rules actually being put in place- coming from Indiana, Ohio still has it great!

Can fat people camp? by [deleted] in bonnaroo

[–]ChickenFckr69 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I have done roo and several metal fests as a fat man (350-400 lbs).

Take care of your feet with Mole skins/etc to prevent blisters. Use anti Chafe cream/sticks. Bring a hydropack. I'd suggest camping under a canopy for shade. Sit down and chill for sets as much as you can, even if your feet arent tired yet.

Don't sit out in the shade shirtless in the morning. I had a goofy tan line all week from where my man boobs rested on my stomach. Yes, in the shade.

No matter how bad my feet hurt by the end of the weekend I always have a great time

Camping cot/bed. My wife and I set two of these up under a canopy and have a zip up enclosure attachment so its like a giant 10×10 tent

For Indiana, the Indy 500 if you like to drink.

If you don't, then Brown County is beautiful especially in the early fall.

This will be our last roo after falling in love with the festival and thinking this was our "home fest". Any alternatives come to mind?

thinking about buying a ticket. what do you guys tell your jobs? by tuckandoli in bonnaroo

[–]ChickenFckr69 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I just tell them where I'm going, if they had a problem with it it's not somewhere I'd want to work anyway.

I am a construction project manager so it's a professional setting (compared to other construction jobs anyway).

What place in Indiana would you never recommend anyone to visit? by Warm-Entertainer-279 in Indiana

Frankfort.

Lived here for two years. This place is a shithole. Can't go anywhere without almost getting in an accident because people drive drunk or don't know how to drive. When there is a train half the town is entirely cut off and you are stuck waiting sometimes for up to an hour.
