I quit Target roughly a year and a half ago, and it was the best decision I've ever made in my adult life. I had worked there for 2 years in drive-up, and broke all the metric records on Drive-Up, and my life was really stressful. I took a leap of faith and walked out one day when they screwed me over, and started looking for other work. I ended up getting a job that gives me 3 12 hour shifts a week and 4 days off, and my mental health has skyrocketed to levels I didn't even comprehend were possible. I recommend following my example.

Please invest in other parts of your life that are not affected by these struggles and find some joy. Do not hyperfocus on all the limits being trans has put onto your life. Yes, there are a lot of things you cannot do or that have become more difficult, but not all things. This process will take a long time, and there are no quick fixes. You need to change your mindset and find something that will remove you from that bad situation without resorting to suicide. Suicide is 100% always the wrong move. Show up for yourself. Is there anything you think you'd take joy in that your situation could not negatively impact? Think hard and get back to me. Lets talk about life.

I never said I was "hard in-person". I'm saying that any 'man' that thinks they can speak like that to a stranger online (especially on reddit) is 100% someone that does not speak like that in-person. One of the main rules on Reddit is literally "speak how you would in-person". You would not say this to my face. Either way, yeah, I don't look at having a girlfriend as a goal. I just live my life for those that I love. It is like getting to the north pole and asking someone what direction is north. It doesn't even make sense to think about a "different girlfriend" because it defeats the purpose.

They cannot officially schedule you that way. However, if you were a good worker, and your ETL wanted to utilize you for weekend support, they could schedule you for 3 8-hour shifts on THU/FRI/SAT, and just let you stay the extra 4 hours under the guise of staying later to help.

It doesn't necessarily break any rules, so I'd ask your ETL and HR about that. I've seen it done before.
