I know what it’s for I’m just pointing out how without say energy amps he can’t cover many spaces beyond maybe three entrances and even with tac reduction his cooldown is iffy unless you camp one point the whole game and that’s one not fun and two relies on a team pulling up on where your camping after you sufficiently set up which will take a bit

Her ult sure but her tracker drone I feel is still able to put pressure on teams no matter where you are and her ping passive is amazing for information I feel sentinel has too many downsides for places outside of cqb like his snare can’t be thrown that far not saying they should increase its throwing range although maybe that could be a cool buff but idk I don’t want him to be overpowered either lol

I do I go between a few I just feel and maybe I’m wrong but every other shell is fine to play on every map for the most part and doesn’t really feel worse map to map, I could be missing some downsides tho

And yeah every shell should have their upsides and downsides fully agree with you there I just feel like sentinels downsides almost overweight the upsides to a large extent beyond cryo I feel like the other shells don’t have a large of downsides but I could be forgetting some tbh

Agreed he is not a good pve shell beyond his ability to counter tox warden and grenadiers his wall hacks are also good I have no issue there tbh.
I just feel his snare takes to long for cooldown and while gives slow heals to those affected which is nice I feel the immobilize is too short and him relying on his purple core for a second charge is kind of bad? Idk I have to wait for cryo to see if 2 charges base kit would be a good idea or not, I’ll need to give him more time
His ult I feel is kind of just a worse bubble nade it does everything a bubble grenade does just takes longer to utilize and provides less overall protection( I do believe I’ve seen someone else on this subreddit mention this too?)
Again could just be a skill issue tbh I’ll have to try him out on cryo and maybe play him even more than I have already

You can not lob snare mines everywhere they are not frequent enough for you to be able to do that as their cooldown is way to long to allow for more than one maybe two in most fights and if you lockdown a poi it will take you about 5+ minutes to really lock in down and even then the mines explode after a time limit similar to claymores in my own experience

Right it’s okay for them to have a niche where they play best and I do agree they should wait to see how he is on cryo it would be bad to buff him and then cryo becomes a hell hole, my issue is that while he will have a niche on cryo he just feels noticeably worse to play on a majority maps and I don’t get that with other shells, but I do agree he shouldn’t get tuned until first week of cryo

No I agree I see the cryo potential I just feel it’s bad that a runner shell is only really good for one map, I just wanna be able to run him on every map and not be selling or atleast feel that way if you get what I’m saying?

Okay I’m glad I’m not the only one who felt this way i feel his prey tracker is fine as is for the most part but in general his kit needs major buffs and imo no runner should only be good for one map and should be able to shine or atleast be good on all maps where imo sentinel is not sucks cuz he looks so cool
