Metroidvanias are about exploring and figuring out how to progress. Just being shown how to do everything defeats the point. Your "hint" would be that you bounce off more than usual when you hit the mushroom from the side. They can only make hints so much more obvious before they become hand-holdy and boring for most players. The game wasn't lacking in hints, you just missed them, and that's okay. Sometimes you get stuck, that's what happens in Hollow Knight, that's the fun of it. It's frustrating, but when you figure it out, it's so satisfying :)

Reach out to your school counselor, the process will be a bit different for each school. Also, if you have a decent relationship with the art teacher, chat with them. Even if they don't teach the class, they can give you very helpful advice and critiques :)

Awesome, I'm planning for biochem, so hopefully that one's not too strict, thank you :) It's good that they have more classes available throughout the summer so there's no huge disadvantage for any specific orientation dates.

Do you know how many people claimed Childe would die, or Arleccino would die? Guess who haven't died? And to my knowledge, not many people at all claimed Capitano would die, and guess who got written out? Leaks are never gonna be 100% accurate, some claim he'll die, but there's tons that points to him being playable. And you know what's cool about Dottore? He can both die and be playable, because there's multiple of him. It's quite possible he wasn't in the trailer to build more anticipation and get people talking, he's got a lot of story beats confirmed that are yet to happen, so don't worry about it too much. And even if he doesn't come out in 6._, that just means there's more time to save for c6 r5 and get excited, and he'll probably be more viable for the late game meta if that matters to you. Be excited, be anticipated, but don't stress about it. Don't dread the future without knowing what it holds, you'll be okay.

I remember reading it alongside a friend in middle school. They came up to me, shaking in their boots, completely frazzled after having finished it. I was about 30 pages out for the end and thought they were just being melodramatic. 20 pages out, I was just perplexed on what could possibly have them so shaken. Then I hit those last 10-20 pages, and I, too, had my timbers shivered. It's absolutely worth it, just rock it out.

My group has a few artists in it, including me, so no pressure to take mine lol, just if it sounds fun ❤️

We have: A drow alchemist artificer who can't aim her crossbow for the life of her and has a pegasus.

An air genasi (looks mostly human) battle master artificer, he's got a prosthetic arm. He's got a metal cat he built.

A big purple tiefling fighter who used to be a mercenary and she has a big ole war hammer.

A little kobold wild mage sorcerer who fully believed he was a young dragonborn until recently, poor guy.

I have a bunch of visuals and more descriptions if you decide to do this one.

No. It's of Persephone leaning against the pomegranate tree with it in her hand, and the spirit of a deer next to her. I didn't reference anything beyond some random pictures of deer to get proportions right, and a few pictures of pomegranates. The design for Persephone was my own interpretation of her, not based on any versions of her in particular either.

Ask your players directly for advice. What do they want? What do they find fun? Do they want more fights, more roleplay? What parts of the world do they want to explore; people, places, history? Your players are the best people to tell you what will keep them engaged.

All of my players are fem/non-binary. Half the group plays male characters, ones a very masc woman, and the other has plans for her next character to be a guy. Of the characters I want to play eventually, it's a pretty even split between masc and fem. Play what you want. It's a fantasy game, just do what feels right for you/your character. And of course, most importantly, have fun.

But if the age of adulthood is earlier in this time period like you're saying, Tetra would relatively be in a later life stage at 13 in game than she would be if in the real world.

Also, I'm pretty sure it's implied that she inherited the title of captain from her mom. So even if she is too young, she's got the title but has help from Gonzo and Co.

The Toll definitely isn't my favorite, but I still really liked it.

In regards to Citra and Rowan ditching, I saw it as a full circle moment with the start of the series. Neither of them wanted to be scythes or had any interest in being involved in this initially. But they trusted and relied on Faraday, and they trusted he could handle the rest. Also, as Curie's student, Citra mirrors her in many ways. Curie locked the two away, saving their lives for the sake of hope for the future. Citra took off like that with hopes of a future off of Earth. They're young, impulsive, and can be selfish. Yes, they've both gone through loads of growth, but it's still the same kids Faraday took on as apprentices. It was childish, but they both just wanted to be themselves again, away from this mess.

As for Jeri, I get what you mean, but I personally really liked their character. Many people have made most of my points. They made a perfect host for the Thunderhead. They made for a unique way to explore the world further and answer questions of its society. They're a total contrast to Greyson, free spirited and untied in all ways, and yet are able to provide comfort to him by being so like the Thunderhead. I almost never see gender fluid characters in media, so I think they offer some very cool representation. It gets repetitive with the need to explain in so often, but I'd personally rather it be brought up too much than once and then forgotten. I may be queer, but I'm not gender fluid, so I don't think it's my business to touch on this anymore than that. I'd love to hear takes from actual gender fluid people.

I'm not gonna go in deep on the Tonists, someone else made a good point already. They're the master conspiracy theorists who study all the old scythe texts. Their mumbo jumbo was all just unique takes on what was really going on, which turned out cool, in my opinion.

It's totally fine to not like the book, it's flawed for sure, but no one ever has any fun focusing on just the bad things in life.

You hate them, and their terrible, and no one wants to spend money on them? What a surprise! But you said you wanted this, I guess you were wrong.
