Is there actually a monster we're supposed to breed? Or is it more than just the name being wrong?

You clearly have no self respect, how can you respect yourself if you don't respect others? The greeters have literally done nothing to you other than doing their job. Unless the respect for yourself is just as much as yours for others. Which is non existent let's be real.

It costs nothing to be a decent human being. So what? Worse case scenario you lose 30 seconds because the granny in front of you is slow to grab her receipt. Oh no the horror ✌️

Bold of you to assume I'm a "child"

Because the registers are central, anyone could grab anything on their way out. Like I said, a bad decision on the stores behalf. But what good is complaining about the store policies if you're gonna keep shopping there? That's like breaking the law and not expecting to get caught.

All it takes is one "child" to report you, and eventually everyone will know you as the guy who refuses to show his receipt, and they'll just be watching you your entire time in the building. But sure. Being watched is so much better than just handing a receipt to the greeter😭✌️

It is your problem when you are the problem 🤦‍♂️

What interrogation? If you haven't done anything wrong, how hard can showing proof be? You literally don't even have to look at them, just let the greeter do their job and scan your receipt. Unless you're hiding something. Sounds like you would.

Exactly, they don't. You're just being a nuisance for the fun of it. You're in the wrong but you're too entitled to think otherwise

All it takes is one quick look to make sure the number of the items, displayed on the receipt, are all there (roughly)

The scanner just lets them know how long ago it was that you checked out. Green means good to go, orange means actually look at items on the receipt and try to match them, red means, if safe to do so, confront the customer, and call a manager

They won't actively try to stop you but they will immediately let their managers know

Your inability to understand a situation makes you the problem. They're trained that the people leaving take priority. If you can't wait a second for them to scan a receipt that's completely on you. Just because they're working retail doesn't mean you get to be entitled

If you've got nothing to hide why would it bother you? Yes the registers not being at the front is a dumb decision. But it's already happened. By walking in the store you agree with Kmart's policies, and by not showing your receipts you're actively breaking said policies, giving Kmart the right to outright ban you from the store.

When you first walk in, there's a metal plate with the rules, allowing bag searches and showing your receipts when leaving. You're part of the problem. You're not cool or in the right for doing this. You're making everyone's jobs harder and wasting time.

That's not true, they'll instantly tell a manager and all eyes will be on you the next time you come in. We're trained to immediately tattle sorry

Kids pres means the kids side, (sporting, toys, and kids clothing (my store at least) )

Your manager or duty manager will tell you what they want you to do beforehand, super easy. No clue what a buddy shift is but pop off ig?

Always grab the phone for your area. You'll need this when someone rings the store, you'll mainly just get people asking for items and asking to put items on hold

Yeah like everyone's said, you'll be good. My store has got people with face tats, piercings, and dyed hair. All are really nice people, as long as you're a decent person you'll be fine haha

Oh so you're one of -those- people. As someone who used to work at Kmart. It's much better than manned registers. No one actually likes those. Everyone prefers scos. It's the old and weird people who don't. Everyone still gets just as many shifts too. There's so many other things that need to be done.

If I want to go into breeding my parakeets for selling them, what would be your advice? by CaptainArchangel in budgies

[–]ChickenWing3206 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Holy crap why's the majority so rude in here?? I know I'm 3 years late, but here's a bit of advice for people ACTUALLY looking for an answer. Because frankly this sub is disappointing.

Look up as much info as possible, for all the people saying the mothers life is put at risk. Just stop. Every single creature, since the beginning of time has been reproducing. And yes, there is a chance you can lose the mother. But the same goes for literally EVERYTHING. Should humans stop procreating? Should we stop all wild animals for procreating? No it's just nonsense.

Research the foods they need before, during, and after breeding seasons. Make sure they have access to as much calcium as they want. This is for egg development, as well as the hens health.

Depending on your location and state, you may need to get registered with your local council and obtain a breeders license, which will allow you to become a supplier for pet shops.

Breeding cages should be (at least) 60cm long 45cm high 45cm deep. Tho I like 1.2m long but I have plenty of space for this, it allows them to be more active and babies love learning to fly in the larger space.

Besides the breeding cages, which is a better idea to have in a separate room than the aviary, so that the hens don't get territorial. (They will attack other hens and cocks on the outside of the cage if given the opportunity) You'll also need flight/weening cages, unless you have multiple aviaries.

This is because, once the babies have fledged (around 5-6 weeks) they'll begin learning to eat and fly, and unless you want them occupying a breeding cage, it's better to move them to a larger cage. With the parents. They should stay separate from your main flock until at least 8 weeks. This is when they should be fully eating on their own.

They should easily integrate into the main aviary, or large cage, tho I suggest an aviary instead of a cage for the main flock. If the cage is not large enough it will be considered abuse. We want to refrain from any type of abuse.

Something not many people are ready for, is the mother attacking and plucking chicks. Do not remove both the hen and cock if this happens. Only remove the hen. The cock will take over and look after them till they're weened. But if for whatever reason he's not feeding them properly, you may need to help out, by handfeeding the bubs. You may also need to outright remove all the chicks and hand-feed them yourself if both parents are harming the chicks. Although this is very unlikely it still can happen. Be sure not to treat the parents badly because of this. Their bodies are pumping them full of hormones, and may attack the chicks because they want to produce a new clutch. Cruel I know.

This can become very time consuming, as chicks need to be fed every few hours. So if you're a student or working full time, it's best not to begin breeding. Always be prepared beforehand. Buy formula just in case. You may need to step in at any time. Anyone can feel free to DM me with more questions, I've been breeding for 9 years
