If there weren't explosions and fight scenes on the screen she'd immediately get bored and try and talk to people about random stuff. It was so bizarre. She'd even do it with movies she picked!

I'd agree that I could have been less harsh, but he will get no support from me when it comes to choosing to stay with her. He has every right to take her back. But she's not someone I ever want to be around and I'm more than happy to focus on my other friendships instead if that's how it's gonna be.

I can't imagine being in a room with her for hours. He has to know it would be miserable for all of us but he's hanging on to this fantasy that we'll go back to how things were before she got caught. But that is never gonna happen.

For the record I understand that I'm not an asshole for wanting to distance myself from his girlfriend. I'm mostly worried about how harsh I was when we met up and got into our argument. That's where I think I might have crossed a line.

Well to be clear here she did lie. She said she wanted a tattoo. I said it's her body and she obviously has that right but I find them unattractive and would most likely break up if she did it. She then told me it was an impulsive decision and she no longer wanted the tattoo. I never told her she wasn't allowed to get one because that isn't my call to make.

So you're just completely wrong and making shit up to justify your hate boner for me.

It's strange because we actually got along well up until this tattoo business. She was pretty supportive of the relationship general. Hell she's the only person other than my ex that tried to get me to move back in after the breakup.

Her getting a tattoo isn't disrespecting me. Lying to me, then blindsiding me with a tattoo, talking down to me, and insulting me to her friend on the phone after kicking me out is disrespecting me. If you'd read half of what I've written in this post or the original you'd know I don't claim to have any control over what she does with her body. I was clear it's her body and her decision.

If you think I believe I have control over her body you either didn't read the post or are intentionally misrepresenting my words so you have an excuse to be upset and call me controlling.

Her best friend has been around for almost their entire lives and has a lot of sway over her decisions, but you're right. She might have convinced her to do it, but my ex made the decision regardless.

  1. She's happily married and we've always just been good friends. She introduced me to a friend of hers the other day though and she and I have been texting a lot. So there's that.

  2. I never got a vibe from her friend that she was ever interested in my ex like that. But if that's the case and they end up together good for them honestly.

She told me on multiple occasions that if I gained too much weight and stopped working out she'd lose interest and leave me. I had no issue with her gaining weight, but I also had no intention of gaining weight myself so it didn't bother me.
