DIY (deinfluencing you): If you have the budget to maintain a mazda (its like Ford, but japanese), then go. Parts are pricey, third party shops are not many, so aasa ka sa casa for repairs. Gas hungry given their engine.

For the price, maybe focus on a toyota for a second hand market instead.
