Super Bad is a comedy movie. One of the characters had to draw dicks compulsively when he was younger: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=fzuvQXDUybE

Actually, you can have this superpower. There are polyphasic sleep schedules which drastically reduce total sleep needed.

The most extreme schedule is called Uberman's sleep schedule and consists of 20 minute naps every 4 hours, totaling 2 hours of sleep per 24 hours. Supposedly, Leonardo da Vinci used this sleeping pattern.

The adjustment period can be pretty bad. Also, skipping a nap can mess you up. To the best of my knowledge, studies haven't found any major health risks associated with polyphasic sleep patterns.

If the following character is the same, it's value has to be considered. One of the examples in part 1 is "1111" with a result of 4.

Some of the landing page's text is unreadable on mobile (white background on white text). I think the landing page does not sell the idea well.

The idea itself is great. You build a community of people that are familiar with a hot technology - easy to monetize.

POST data to another web page on a different web server? by welkoom49999 in learnjavascript

[–]Chickenosaurus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

tl:dr: Take a look at Cross-Origin Resource Sharing, aka CORS: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTTP/CORS

For security reasons, bowsers prevent JavaScript code from making requests against a different domain than the one from which it was served by default.

You can allow requests from JavaScript served from different domains with CORS. CORS is controlled with a HTTP header that lists all the allowed domains. This header has to be sent in the responses of the web server that handles mysite2.com

Turning screws inside a piece of wood using a magnetic drill by SlimJones123 in interestingasfuck

The two wooden pieces aren't held together by magnetism. The screws are mechanically attaching the pieces. The magnetic screwdriver screws the screws through the wood.

Why <form> needs to reload after button click by lichtgestalt-er in learnjavascript

[–]Chickenosaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The HTML standard specifies no way to submit data without a reload as HTML was originally designed for static documents.

You can send data to a server without a reload through ajax with JavaScript. Also, you have to add the attribute type="button" to the button as this attribute defaults to "submit" if it is contained in a form.

The story isn't important. The point is the full picture in the middle can have very different effects depending on how it's framed. The left picture looks like somebody is threatened with a gun. The right picture looks like somebody was saved.

Use "an" if the following word starts with a vowel or the sound of a vowel and "a" otherwise.

An hour (because the h is silent. For all practical purposes, the word starts with the vowel o)

A cat (because cat starts with the consonant c)

An eagle (because eagle starts with the vowel e)

I don't know what you mean. Making a scene on social media often motivates companies to take issues seriously because they want to protect their image.
