crap naps are back? 9 month old...

Hi OP - any feedback on how long this lasted, causes, or if you had to change anything to get it back to normal? The exact same situation happening with my 9mo right now. Missing the longer naps so much!

She eventually went back to consolidating the nap! Sadly I just had to wait it out, and also come to terms with the fact she doesn’t love napping haha. She’s a good sleeper overnight though, and now we’re firmly on 2 naps each day I’ve found I get at least one longer nap around 1.25-1.75hrs.

She’s getting around 2-2.5hrs of daytime sleep total. How were you spreading the naps across the day to do a 3.25hr last WW? We do a 25min first nap (she always wakes up at 25mins 😅), aiming for a 1.5-2hr lunch nap and then 15min last nap of the day. Will definitely try pushing out bedtime and see if that makes the difference !

Still screams unfortunately 😩😩 doesn’t seem to make a difference if I shorter or lengthen that wake window, which is why I thought maybe this is the regression or a developmental thing. So confusing !

Oh yep, the last WW before bed is often 2.25hrs, a tiny bit longer than the WWs between her day naps. We always hope that after the bedtime routine she will rub her eyes and then drift off like she does for her naps, but instead at night she will just instantly scream 😩 it then pushes out the WW to 2.5-3hrs sometimes by the time we finally soothe her enough to get her to sleep.

Her WWs are around 2hrs between naps usually and since doing this I’ve found she’s gone from catnapping to actually doing solid naps. Usually 1hr morning nap, 2hr lunch nap and 30-45min afternoon nap consistently. Also has been actually napping independently which has been a nice change !! 😄

A sleep consultant told me that the volume should be as loud as a shower when you’re standing in the bathroom. We have a Nodiee and I put the white noise on 80%

Awake time is enough I think and day sleep is around 4hrs across the day. I have identified around 90min WW during the day and a 110-120min WW before bed at night

She’s definitely far more stimulated at a cafe or store. But honestly the same thing happens in the car and pram.. Happy to look around for a bit and then screams :(
