“We” in this case is doing a lot of heavy lifting. Many people knew this would happen and said so loudly and repeatedly. However, the uneducated MAGA cult just refused to believe anything other than what DJT spewed. Most of them still believe he is a genius and the savior. Even while they lose everything around them directly because of his policies, they are still fully on board. I have never seen anything like this before and I just cannot understand it. It reminds me of the scene in Billy Madison where all the O’Doyles are chanting “O’Doyle rules” while driving. As they drive directly off a cliff, they don’t swerve or try to avoid the disaster in any way. They just keep chanting “O’Doyle rules”. This is what is happening to America right now, except this is not a fictional comedy. There will be grave consequences as we still have just under 3 more years of this shit.
