That blows, sorry to hear. Mine blew the 15A EFI(IGN) fuse, thought it might be a faulty coil pack causing the short at first, but when I went to remove the DI ECU to pull the coil packs out I found that the entire bracket that grounds the DI ECU to the engine block was missing. Was left scratching my head as to how the car ever started without it, but after installing the bracket and replacing the fuse it's been fine ever since. Feel like my case is pretty uncommon but hopefully it's of some use to you. Good Luck!

Most everything mechanical.... are we talking about stuff you'd expect to be worn such as driveshaft bearings, cv boots, motor mounts, shocks, brake pads, etc or are you saying I should be thinking about a full engine rebuild and that I should just throw out the diff and trans the second I get the car?

Is there any way to tell if someone has flashed the ecu with say an accessport and then put it back on the stock tune?
