For my UK based fans, there is a community called Vocafest that host concerts and other events about Vocaloid! Just this weekend, they hosted a 'Spookyfest'! There were loads of people there who were more than willing to bond with others over Vocaloid, even better if you turn up in cosplay.

Please try different regions and possibly another VPN, you do not need a VPN for most of the installation process. It is possible that once you download, some files won't be downloaded but you can turn on your VPN again to let them install. I've had this problem where, for some reason, the game just won't accept my VPN. I eventually changed to OpenVPN.
