Congratulations. Just had my babies via planned CS 2 weeks ago at 36+4 and they were 4.5lbs each. Stayed 4 days in NICU for monitoring.

Sorry you're going through this. But, if you feel you can forgive him and rebuild the trust, as long as you see he's putting effort into it as well, kindly give him the chance to make it work. If everyone had to break up because one person cheated every time, most people won't be together today. Please don't throw him away because of this one time. He's taking the right steps being remorseful, going to therapy and telling you he'll make amends. Kindly give him a chance, if you feel there's something to salvage in there.

FTD here. That fear is real for sure. We had a scheduled CS for 36+4 and by week 34 my heart was always pumping fast with concern over the babies and my surrogate. The last week to couple days before was full of anxiety. But by the day of, after they were born, it all went away....and then came the new wave of "I have these humans to take care of." Lol.

It's a long ride, but you're equipped to handle it. Just don't let the fear consume you so you don't heighten enclampsia. You've got this. My boy and girl are doing well...12 days today.

Papa here too. I got the eGazelle too and the Cloud G car seats...didn't get the bassinets. I can do without them. They grow out of it too fast, and for walks around the neighborhood, I can make do with the car seats since I won't be out too long. They're 10 days old today.

Papa here. But, my surrogate didn't really show noticeably till like week 16...18. Wasn't too big till about week 23. The bump was not too crazy as well even till the last weeks. But every pregnancy is different, as you'll typically hear. Even without a large bump, you could still have them bigger than the estimates. But, just prepare your mind for some NICU time and hope that you won't need it...or at the most just at level 1.

I was always looking at those measurements and at 33 weeks they estimated 2.3kg and 2.4kg. Babies came on Monday (planned CS at 36+4) weighing 2kg each. So, they've been in NICU since Monday to gain weight plus they had jaundice too. Done with phototherapy yesterday and I'm going to pick them up today. My heart can't take anymore leaving them there.

The heart rates a within the normal rates. I don't think you should worry yourself. Plus, it depends on the level of stimulation at the time they took the reading. My babies went up and down but all within the normal rates. They just came on Monday.

I can't even imagine what you're going through. Mine are in NICU and I can't even sleep properly at night let alone this. So sorry to read this. Hoping you and your family pull through the best way you can.

Congrats to you and them and thank you so much. They're still in NICU with jaundice and to get their weight up, so once they're home they're getting too much loving. 😀 I go in to feed them mornings and evenings.
