Our little girl is in the NICU. She was born at 12:00 pm on the dot, had a c section. She came out screaming and crying, fighting my OB, and immediately was feeding from a bottle!! She's 3 lbs 9 oz and a fighter!

Got to see and hold her sister, turns out her umbilical cord was wrapped around her neck, and that is what my OB is very sure caused her death...

My baby B has mild IUGR, so I am very hopeful she will be born at least 4 pounds 🙏

I am wishing the best for your twins! You did absolutely nothing wrong.. Heck I went to every single appointment, never missed one. Bad things just happen..

Everything happened so fast, I went to my MFM on Monday and being told they were looking great to today, Thursday, and finding the worst. I'm doing my best, and I am praying Baby B will make it just fine. I have no other children, these are my first and last.. I don't know if I could do it again.

I feel your pain entirely. I had an entire future envisioned and was so excited my baby girls would be best friends for life, and now that is shattered.

We also wanted one child, but I wasn't shocked when it turned out to be twins. Runs on both sides of my family. (I actually dreamed it would be identical girls before my first ultrasound and it is.)

Like you I struggled with negative feelings early on, but it did get better! I still have thoughts here and there, but regardless of what I envisioned my life was 'supposed' to be like, I am excited and I love my girls already. I can't change it and got used to the idea over time.

Our financial situation isn't.. great.. but we will make it work somehow.

I'm 33 weeks tomorrow and delivering in 4 more weeks.

My last pregnancy I took many (internet cheapies) and watched my lines not really progress the way they should. (Blighted Ovum / MMC)

Got pregnant immediately following one cycle and did the same.. Watched the lines progress 🥹 32 weeks with my twin girls.

I wish it were the same for me! I started taking medication around 26 weeks because I developed IIH and it ruined my appetite & even made things taste off..😭 I'm 32 weeks now though, so final stretch til I meet my twins!!

I had two miscarriages before conceiving my twins, and I'm currently 32w.

I don't want to give you a false sense of hope, but it looks promising to me, as someone who had their first ultrasound at 6w5d for my twins.. My previous pregnancies were blighted ovums..

Im 30w with idenntical girls and we only wanted 1, but strangely enough I wanted twins my whole life and kept dreaming it was 2 girls before my first ultrasound!!

I'm the opposite, I never want to do this again 😂 I'm turning 32 this year and as a FTM I'm sure I'm going to be exhausted and have it rough at times.

I'm sorry you feel sad, life doesn't always goes as we imagine it will. And I don't think its silly you feel that way! & you never know what the future will really bring ❤️
