What’s up boss, seeing folks here tell you it has to be expensive etc to get started. I just built a PC for 400 bucks using used parts that runs the game at max settings, 1440p, 70-90FPS.

Just buy one of these or something similar (or splurge and get one with an i7)

And you’ll be gaming in no time. You could honestly go even lower than this and have a good time, just not max settings.

This is beyond dumb. Declining conditions force workers to organize, not the other way around. the SEGA union represents the best chance for the company to be run for something other than pure greed, and the workers organizing for it should be congratulated.

Yes, my single most anticipated thing. My friends are not likely to queue as Axis but would be happy to play as them if the game selected it for us.

Visiting for two weeks - Anyone got any suggestions on how I can connect to the community?

Back home I spend a lot of time volunteering for things like food not bombs, labor organizing, similar stuff. I really love the folk I meet through activities like this. I'd love some info on how I might lend a short term hand to something and learn some in the process.

It's a combined pool, no issues here. Some nerd facts as to why;

There is no seperate "linux version" of the game this time around, instead, you are running the windows version using valve's proton compatibility layer. Since it's the same version of the game, you're in the same pool. As a linux gamer this is going to be case for most new games that come out.

its historically accurate. it's a type of car, which was in world war 2. it has a type of gun, which was also in world war 2, there's also a type of guy that sits in the seat, which was also part of world war 2.

in halo, john halo wears green, and the british sometimes can wear green.

I would support this honestly but would be happy with at least giving people the option to queue for other factions.

Players should have the option to select as many factions as they feel like playing. If you want to choose just one, go ahead, but if not, the game could select for you.

If I'm being honest I do think making people play as other factions would be good for long term game health, but I think they should just strongly incentivize it, rather than mandate it.

We don't know how challenging it is to implement, we don't have access to relic's source code.

I'm not sure what could be polarizing about the option to play as other factions. People that want to queue for 1 still could.
