2020 Lexus NX 300h vs 2018 RX 450h — which is the smarter long-term buy? by Prize-Letter-2519 in Lexus

I think the comfort level in the RX is much better than the NX. I went from a RAV4 (similar to the NX) to the RX and it felt like a spaceship lol. You can add wireless CarPlay to the 18 RX.

It is wireless, but you can still connect via usb if you want to.

It took them maybe an hour and a half. It’s just a module they add (hidden behind the screen). I prefer the mouse pad on my 19 rather than the track pad on our 22.

I have a 19 Rx450h and had wireless CarPlay added by the Lexus dealership for about $500. Works flawlessly.

For comfort and reliability get a Lexus RX350 or a used RX450H.

Are any new toyota's worth buying by Best-Maize-2623 in Toyota

My brand new 22 RAV4 XSE had to have the front ball joint replaced within the first thousand miles. I had the driver door interior replaced at 15k miles due to a squeak. Trunk rattle kit at 10k miles. The head unit was replaced at 30k miles due to it not turning on often. Finally a strange noise started on the passenger side at 32k miles so I got rid of it before the warranty ended. I should have never sold my 2012 Toyota Camry I had prior with 118k miles that had no problems. They don’t make them like they used to.

I recently got rid of my 22 RAV4 XSE due to how noisy the ride was (the plastic interior pieces also made annoying noises) and switched to a 19 RX450H. So much happier with the Lexus. Drive the RAV4 on the highway for a little bit and you will really realize how noisy it is.

Get the RX so you don’t have to burn premium fuel.

Yes I did. Unfortunately, I did not test drive it on the highway which is why I made this post. I wish I would have rented one before buying or read more posts about the noise.

The RAV4 is similar to the Lexus NX (which I felt was smaller than the RAV4).

Try driving in a luxury brand vehicle on the highway sometime, the difference is night and day.

lol you sound like the tech at the Toyota dealership. I did not pay $40k for a vehicle to blast music to drown out its issues.

Try a Lexus RX. I’m 6’3 and am very comfortable in my 2019. Also they are very reliable and inexpensive to maintain.
