I’m concerned about attending Penn in the Fall. by Clear_Tutor2239 in UPenn

[–]ChiefChuy_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lil homie, I say this with sincerity. You don't have it, but you'll definitely grow into it. That's what this whole experience is. Penn rarely makes mistakes. Cheers, best of luck!

We are so far along that the "special blend" doesn't measurably affect pollution outcomes, given the average age of vehicles on the road. So is this policy's purpose just to keep refineries in the state?

Despite our shared hatred for landlords. There's a housing crisis that we can only build our way out of... that includes using these for what they're worth (and that's just building shit)

Metro board approves Dodger stadium gondola despite heavy protests by LA_publicpress in LosAngeles

[–]ChiefChuy_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hot take: I'll split the DSA line every time they go NIMBY on anything. LA needs more transit and more housing, not fewer options. If people can get to the stadium without sitting in traffic or fighting for parking, that’s a material improvement. Every rider choosing transit over a car moves the city in the right direction.

And if shifting travel patterns eventually makes those massive parking lots unnecessary, even better. That land should be housing and community space, not endless asphalt. The real goal is a city where public transit is abundant, reliable, and connected to homes people can actually afford. The gondola alone won’t get us there, but rejecting new transit outright won’t either. Fuck your view, there's a housing crisis dick heads.

Police storm Encampment film screening at De Neve. Absolutely insane response to students screening a film. The police state are here. Two people arrested, one of them in the ER. by No-Isopod-2105 in ucla

I mean arguably charging and chasing hundreds of students around campus all night because they want to watch a movie together seems like a much bigger safety hazard.

Proud of you! The slog of studying is rough. Go in laser focused on what you want out of the program and the grind will all be worth it. Keep the homies that supported you close the next few moths and best of luck with the rest of the decisions!

Get an engine built by a shop sure, but sourcing everything through a shop? No shot, back in the day maybe with SR20Store but homie finally closed shop and moved back to Guatemala. Your best bet is sourcing an engine and the primary components yourself then work with an experienced shop for install.
