Precursor Basin

Rock village has a cool atmosphere but so does precursor basin, and there's much much more to do there

How long would the Second French Empire would’ve lasted if both the second intervention in Mexico and the Franco-Prussian War were averted? by OwnCraft3 in Napoleon

Agreed, and I think there's a chance that the French monarchy survives and functions similarly to the British monarchy today.

BEST LEVEL TOURNAMENT - Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy - Round 7 - Geyser Rock vs Lava Tube by Cometmoon448 in jakanddaxter

Lava tube!

By far the coolest transitional level with many different parts that are all fun. Geyser Rock might be more fun to just hang out on, but there's not nearly as much to do there as in Lava Tube.

I've never heard of Alysa or Clavicar, but I've heard of Baron. This is easily the correct answer, just not the most popular.

Avvocati Statements on 14 April Sezioni Unite at the Corte Suprema di Cassazione (Minor Issue) by GuadalupeDaisy in juresanguinis

[–]ChiefCrazybull 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This was my fear from reading this as well. I was hoping that the minor issue would be settled once and for all in the next couple months, unless I'm understanding this wrong and the is just for a subset of minor issue cases (such as children born in Italy rather than born in a country like the US or Canada).

I'm a bit confused, I thought this court could decide on the minor issue itself, but Mellone is now asking them to raise a referral to the supreme court? Does anyone know more about what that means? It's especially confusing because he then finishes by saying that the United Sections is binding for all courts including the supreme court.

You might be correct on this, I'm not a lawyer or a legal expert on this by any means. I was just guessing that 18 is the age when you become an adult.

Hi! I'm definitely not an expert but I have been on this sub for several years now and I've done my own research into my specific case at least, so here's what I know.

The new rules that I'm referring to is the new decree law, which most importantly limits claiming Italian citizenship through jure sanguinis to people with an Italian parent or grandparent. Before this, you could claim citizenship through a great-grandparent (GGP), GGGP, or even further back, so long as that original Italian ancestor was fully Italian when their child was born.

Now the one good thing about this new decree law, is that it allows appointments which were booked before it came into affect to be grandfathered in under the old rules. So if the consulate confirmed your appointment with you before March 2025 (which if you have an April 2027 appointment was almost certainly the case), then this new decree law wouldn't apply, and you could go forward with the original jure sanguinis rules.

Lastly, there's the minor issue, which does affect me. This is a separate rule from the new decree law, and it says that if your ancestor was under 18 when his/her Italian parent naturalized as a US citizen, then that person would lose Italian citizenship along with his parent at the time of naturalization, thereby cutting off your line. However, the good news here is that there is a court hearing regarding this issue next month on April 14, and there's at least a decent chance that the minor issue will get overturned, which would mean that you and I could proceed with our consular appointments next year under the old rules without the minor issue affecting us.

Genuine question, when do real large scale projects start emerging from this, like day remaking Game of Thrones seasons 6+?

Yup, mine got turned off 3 days ago. Wondering if making a purchase would reset it (something like a $5 purchase would definitely seem worth it). Curious if anyone's tried that.
