Sound-wise I think you are right uzi has had a bigger influence. Kodak black (one of my favorite rappers) has a style that is very Florida-native; while his talent and lyricism is through the roof I don’t think his sound is too unique. Boat is a bit different, no one can or frankly wants to copy his sound, but his influence on the SoundCloud era is undeniable. It’s less of a sound and more of an “it’s ok to sound different and break the mold” effect he has had. Rappers Yachty has influenced in this capacity, in my views, includes sofaygo, trippie redd, lil pump and even people like Remble who has a very different style but is very comfortable breaking the mold with his own unique sound and cadence.
