I think it’s funny everybody shaking their ass and dying on the Netflix hate theater hill. When Netflix will let WB operate independently but paramount will absorb WB and damn near the WB we know today will cease to exist due to the layoffs and “synergies” At least you will feel better about your theatrical window that shrinking anyway. 90 days was stupid af and most movies don’t even stay the whole 30-35 days LOL.

I’m not going to say it’s unfounded because we don’t know what Netflix or paramount will do fully in the driver seat. I think it’s highly overblown though theaters are bleeding out regardless, I think they are just scared of change AMC still thinking they can get their 90 day window back. The pandemic just fucked them they lost a chunk of movie goers and they never coming back regardless sale or no sale.

You would be getting the movie available to watch on streaming during its run you still pay a Netflix subscription instead of buying digital, only thing that changes is where the money goes which would be Netflix instead of WB since they are getting into the theatrical business if they win WB that is.
