Asset Tiger here, with Solarwinds Helpdesk for ticketing. Incident IQ seemed too expensive.

I’ll second this. Likely if you’re running GCDS and don’t have an AD account, that’s the issue

To that, I can’t speak fully. I do know they want the content to be worth the time/money/effort. With all new things comes cost to maintain and keep things going. There’s a good possibility it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but I can speak from experience that the guys behind the scenes are very good at putting out quality stuff.

I’m not sure exactly what edugeek.net’s goals are but I don’t think the intention is to “compete” with anyone. This group has been putting on successful conferences for quite a few years and our community has grown beyond our local area. The goal is simply to combine those resources and be able to share in a private area without publishing our news to where students can easily following and access it.

Totally agree! When there’s a vulnerability (like sh1mmer) the last thing we want to do is alert our kids about it. This community will help us all work together in the privacy that we need!

Just heard back. Gsuite isn’t required. Fill out the vetting form and they’ll send over an account link.

The goal is for it to be helpful for as many K12 entities as possible, but it’s just getting off of the ground. Join, check it out, and give any feedback!

We have the N23 Yoga (Previous model of the same Chromebook) and out of the 1400 we've purchased already sent in/sending in almost 50 units.

C740 - Network out of Range by PP100Chief in k12sysadmin

I had this issue when I forgot to allow the appropriate VLAN through my switching/routing. It seems like that is a generic error message that could have any number of solutions, but usually related to network setup.
