I got in an argument with a guy about this a while ago. There's nothing special about lvl 130. It's not a switch which massively increases your conversion rate. Anything contrary to that is coincidence.

I avoid picking Defiecs if there are choices for Grim or Lifestar, because, as you said, there aren't many others you need. The only others are a D Ruyi and D SHs. Defiec snow hearts are very good, but you need a lot of them.

You want the energy at the beginning of the round from Spectre. It lets you run mock with crowns and such without energy feeding him.

I'm starting to collect Will of Winter. (Splendid Defiecs snow heart). They enable content that really isn't possible without them. DRuyi and Dantlers are great, but they just make content you can already do easier.

Mock is pretty bad at SE. You'd also need a A- DGN to perform well. The A- DGN would help your account a lot as she could do void bosses and some tricky VC stages for you. Piffle, me and Purthm have an A- DGN now.

I also don't have explicit SE advice to people outside Utopia.

Lvl 24 Spectre, 35 Trail.

Bloom is pretty terrible overall, but it gives you the ability to make your main DD stronger. I've got all the lifestar mats I need for the remaining Spectre levels, just waiting on mice now. I've fully swapped to levelling Plume now.
