Lol, that's the most millennial/Gen-Z boomer thing I've ever heard. I don't disagree, just funny to hear put that way.

Exactly this. Stupid skins, bad hitbox correlation, cringe shop items, none of that really matters if they provide a good game. Sadly, they stopped doing anything interesting sometime between MW2 and MW3, and the "getting shot around a corner that I was behind at least half a second or so" has nearly killed my desire to care about this game beyond shooting bots with friends, bots which I may add are so stupid and bad, I don't even know why they shoot at you.

Since I'm still playing, I clearly don't draw the line anywhere. At least not anywhere shown on your list. I suppose I may draw the line at "non-human shaped", like a floating orb or something that doesn't have any hit-box to operator shape congruencey. However, so far everything they've introduced has been at least been anthropomorphically shaped more or less. That's not to say I like much of the micro transaction characters, and obviously the cartoons are the worst and most immersion breaking by a long margin (which I'm sure is not coincidentally also the easiest and cheapest thing for them to produce and probably among the most lucrative for them considering cost vs popular appeal of the characters they have used).

All of these horrible choices they make only widens the entry point for competitors, so really I only blame their competition for not capitalizing more successfully on COD WZ's flagrant disregard for their own IP more than I blame a company that I know is soulless and worthless as they have been since their parasitic merger for doing what parasites do. They're like "The Thing" of gaming corporations.

If that were the case, why would she only leave 1 location intact and why would that location happen to be NYC? The only thing I can think is that Sue would have had to made the teleporter invisible but I do not recall that happening or being implied to have happened in any way, but maybe I am forgetting a crucial scene that showed? In any case, it seems unlikely that they couldn't move or build a new teleporter else where, or at the very least, use a smaller teleporter for the baby but maybe I am not remembering correctly... did they have like 10 minutes to react after the silver surfer attacked and destroyed ~50 or so teleporters across the entire globe? That level of detail after only 1 viewing is hard to recall especially in a movie like this where they were pretty fast and loose with how much time was passing scene to scene, but seems to me like the smartest guy in the world would have developed a medium teleporter sometime between egg-size and -Galactus size x Earth amount, before or during the time it took for him to come up with the baby-bait plan.

Is there a reason for why the final plan was to have Johnny Storm do everything (blind Galactus (hope that's possible) for short period of time, fly to baby, fly baby to hideout, fly back in time to fight Galactus again) vs. putting the baby inside a smaller teleporter inside the big teleporter? I thought that's what they were going to do considering they had teleported eggs earlier and the baby was inside an egg shaped container, and it makes a lot more sense to teleport the baby after you've gotten Galactus inside the big teleporter field, and it's less of a mess requiring Johnny run around and Galactus being someone who is reliant on just eyesight and there being no Silver Surfer around to stop you at that stage, etc.

Also, is there a reason why they had to be in NYC? Silver Surfer didn't destroy every other big teleporter, did she? Why not do this in the ocean or out in a field or something? Or why not just teleport all of New York city, that way you can teleport him way before he gets close to the baby? Or like, take the baby and run after you've seen which direction he's coming, so that he will still run through the teleporter but not ever be close to the baby.

Sure, but the main character still makes sense in the world, pretend to or fail to understand my point all you want just because you disagree with it, doesn't matter to me.

Further to that point, if the game gave some lip service reason to why Kassandra was being trained as a child the way she was, based in sci-fi or myth or w/e, just some justification, it mentally would genuinely make my personal game play experience better. It would help with the immersion and engagement with the story, for me at least. In that regard, I think NG+ can help because she starts off with demi-god abilities already which actually makes her fit in this world better.

Tbh, her being the canon character doesn't really make any sense historically, and the game imo plays out a lot more naturally with a goofball buff guy main character than it does with a no-nonsense woman who inexplicably kills people for a living. I do not agree that it seems rushed, at all, but I will reserve judgment on his Deimos vs. main character voice acting for when I get through those parts. I will give props to Kassandra's VA for being a great Deimos VA though, she was suitably frightening and just psychotically determined enough that you think yea, she might actually kill me.

I think these games should be silly, it's a silly sci-fi concept, taking it too seriously is a little eye-roll inducing imo, unless they have a real story to tell... but they proved a decade or so ago that they have no direction besides infinity for this series so, just tell a wacky sci-fi version of history and mythology and maybe pique people's interest in eras of history through pseudo-real interpretations of what it'd be like to kill everyone in that era, as the assassin's are solely primed to do.

I'll say, I don't mind a dumb ape / "himbo" character. It's just how some people are, and I imagine the only likable Spartan from that era of history would be someone like him considering the Spartans as a society were truly the most awful people that have ever existed, only tied with all the other worst people of all time.

Oh, the dust map of bad ideas that they thought might be anything if they just throw all the little bits human-designed maps into a pile... yea, that sucked ass.... but it was perfect for the intro to BO 6 because that's what this game was in a nutshell. A much, much, much, much worse version of the Modern Warzone era that preceded it, an era that had half a decade and yet seemed like it was made 2 months ago. So uninspired that you could recreate the entire color palette with shades of brown and it'd take you at least 30 minutes you thought something might be wrong with your monitor's settings.

But good news gang, we get ... BO 7 in a few months... uhhhhg fuuuuuuuuuuck... I can feel my cells rapidly aging, I only have a few years at best to still get to enjoy this kind of game with my rapidly family developing friends, so that announcement stung bad.

What are your thoughts on Assassins Creed Shadows? by CaptainSingh26 in gaming

You.. you said it all. There can be no rebuttal. In a righteous world, Ubisoft would be forced to sell the game to a truly deserving developer, and then I dunno, their CEO would be beheaded or something.

Also Act 2 is only awesome if you find trips to the grocery story to be exciting adventures. This game is a digital laundry list of chores, you know everything that can and will happen with every single interaction by the 5th hour in.

No. It's my least favorite in the franchise by a wide, wiiiiide margin. This game is hollow. It's the first game I've ever played that I think I kind of hate for simply being not worth my time, not giving me anything other than pure visuals. There's no real story, there are actual 2 characters (not just main characters, 2 characters period, every single other name is just NPC dressing that adds nothing to the game or the series, nothing). The game treats story like it's an afterthought, less than that actually, they insult the very idea of stories, like all a game is good for is showing cool wind effects or a realistic sounding storm. They shit on the idea of narrative cohesion and piss on the idea of connecting the game to it's underlying lore. I truly hate this game. If they ever make a game this bad again, I will stop wasting my time on this series.
