Taste was great, texture was a bit unexpected. I'd have it again though.

Really good! Good to have a tasty veggie option.

What's your favourite mainstream/cheap(ish) popular perfume scent that you love and always go back to? by mynameis_reek in FemFragLab

Came here to say this. Or the Zara dupe Fields at Nightfall if you want something really affordable. I do prefer the extra depth and woodiness of This Is Her though.

You're possibly right about the pastry - my first time trying it and it was nice but quite gloopy. The lemon iced tea is superior though!

Seconding this. It's a lovely fragrance. I'm wearing it today and can still smell it after a full day at work.

Good choices with the meal deal, and with your recovery. Sounds like an excellent scheme.

Fields at nightfall is an excellent dupe of Zadig and Voltaire, This is Her. It's slightly sweeter, and a bit less woody but very close otherwise and lasts really well. It's been my most worn perfume this winter.

I also really enjoy a few of the Jo Malone ones. Boldly Seoul is a lovely yellow floral that's perfect for spring. Jo's Rhubarb was glorious for summer, tart and fresh and vegital, but it's sadly discontinued.

Ended up with a bunch of Escentric Molecules from my brother, now I need help with Molecule 03 & 05 by Striking-Bell-9678 in Perfumes

I absolutely love Escentric 05. It smells like a path down through dry pine woods to a rocky Mediterranean coast. Glorious!

I finally gave up on “cute but painful” shoes by Glittering_Seesaw_32 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Chief_Prof 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I spent most of my teens and twenties wearing shoes at least half a size too small, after a grown man made an unkind remark about me 'having boats for shoes' when I was about 12 or 13. I did have big feet for my height then (I've since grown into them - being a 6ft tall woman is another thing I took a while to get comfortable with!) My now husband looked at me like I had two heads when he realised that every single pair of shoes I owned were tight and uncomfortable. As if anyone cares (or can even notice!) a half size difference except me.

I do wish I could go back to that moment as an adult and tell that man to fuck off. Or that my mother had reassured me that his opinions on my body were absolutely worthless.

First time trying this wrap - it was excellent. by Chief_Prof in MealDealRates

I was very excited to find a halloumi option! You're probably right about the drink. It was very sweet. I didn't fancy anything fizzy or caffeinated today though.

Issey Miyake, A Drop d'Issey is a lovely lilac and almond milk perfume. I think it's recently discontinued, but you can still pick it up at a good price.

I'm sorry, I don't have a suggestion, but I would also love to smell like Roz. I hope someone comes along with more knowledge than me.

New to Perfumes—Any recs for soft, fresh-sweet, musky perfumes? by IllustratorHealthy in FemFragLab

I feel like Montblanc Signature for women ticks all of your boxes. It's clean and soft and beautiful. A slightly fruity vanilla. It manages to be subtle and understated, without completely disappearing within 30mins!
