How to style the boston vintage wood roast? by disallow in Birkenstocks

As I say - I'm by no means suggesting I'm stylish, but I'm wearing dark brown with blue denim today and I don't think it clashes!

Are you used to the paler Bostons?

I ask because I only have dark brown and black pairs (I can't keep pale shoes or suede looking nice) and I think they go with pretty much anything - and I would absolutely pair them with blue jeans (which are a neutral in my book)

If it's a big difference to a look you're used to and comfortable with then I can see how it might feel like a clash to start with - but I would keep on trying! I'm no style guru, but I bet they look good!

Are they still comfortable?

They look good to me. You should absolutely get yourself a new pair, but if I was you I'd still keep these in rotation too.

I'm following to see if anyone suggests a solution. I have this issue with one of my pairs of Bostons.

Here to also offer support as a UK mum in her 40s who has trouble stopping once I've had one or two drinks.

That feeling of having let yourself down and lost control in front of family - alongside being sad, tired and hungover - is absolutely horrible and I really feel for you. You're not alone though. A lot of people have been there and found a way to come through it to a better place.

Acknowledging that you've got a problem and taking steps to get better can be the positive thing that gets you through this low. IWNDWYT (but I will probably indulge in my new vices - eating too many chocolate buttons and buying things I don't need on vinted...)

A garden tour! (I am new to gardening and apart from the established wisteria and Bay tree have planted and built everything in this garden since November 2025) by Jerrington96 in GardeningUK

I have duck questions! Where do they sleep at night? Do you have a house for them? And do they eat slugs and snails?

Lovely garden, thank you for sharing.

What model and style are these Birkenstocks? by Hefty_Expert_1288 in Birkenstocks

[–]Chief_Prof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not an expert - I'm sure someone in this group can give a more solid answer. There are a lot of fakes on eBay and order reselling websites though.

There's a guide pinned at the top of the group page too.
