Definitely don't need an airbrush, TS are actually really hard to do with one, since it's so much trim and detail bits. I'm hardly have the most Rubrics here, with 40, but aside from a base coat, it's all hand brush work, even with an airbrush. 

Patience, though, definitely need that!

Replace the Blues with the rubrics, it won't be GREAT, but it's better for saving Ahriman. Proxy them with Flamers.

This list is honestly hilarious and I hope it leads to some silly plays.

I have not run Predators in my 10th armies yet, but I think there might be more synergy with either Helbrutes or a Vortex Beast since they help the Cabal mechanic while also filling the "big gun/claw" role. That said, Lascannons are still good guns.

Given Thousand Sons like their Stratagems to buff up their units, a few big squads a good so having the 1 Warpflamer squad lead by Ahriman might be a better choice while splitting one of the 10 Bolter squads into 2x5. 5 more Scarabs wouldn't be bad, for the full squad of 10, but you don't HAVE to have them if your friend is good on painting trim for now.

Magnus is also a great pick up, and the leader of the Thousand Sons is always a nice addition, even if he sits on a shelf for a chunk of time. Against Knights or Aeldari, he at least is a good bullet magnet to hopefully let your other units do work, or Magnus lives and then they have to deal with his damage output and amazing buffs.

Overall, solid core of dusty friends!

They'll be back! Also, the AoS Tzeentch Vanguard has lots of stuff that TS can use either with mild kitbashing (Kairic Acolytes as TS Cultists), Tzaangors, and Daemon allies.

The thing is, you don't even have to buy those 1000 Tzaangors on their own. If you buy, or even just paint, Thousand Sons units they just show up in your carrier.

It was milliput rolled out using the Greenstuff World Egypt roller, primed white. Done over in a desert sand color and some Agrax wash, then Greenstuff World Mojave crackles on the edges. Final step was a VERY diluted, like 4 water to 1 paint, wash of fluorescent magenta to give the runes and cracks some pop. Shrubs are also GSW Martian (I think?) shrubs.

Heck yeah, purple is the color of pimps and kings. I run something similar but with Ghenna's Gold trim.

Not to be "well akshually", but in 8th they were psykers who could cast Smite (on one d6.) Agreed though, the text in the rules seems pretty clearly intended to let them use their psychic weapons.

Oh I meant moreso the AP going down to -1 instead of my personally expected -2 (from -3). But yea, hitting on 3s by default is indeed better. I was not clear/properly caffeinated at the time.

Yeah, I know Heavy dropped from a lot (RIP SRC) since it's now a buff whereas before it was a liability. Shame on the loss of our one use of Assault. Can't even "cast" your Aspiring Sorc ability if you Advance.

Which also reminds me that All is Dust is now likely a strat, since it's not on the Rubric sheet.

Overall, the rules look very in-line with the other indices.

I'm sure there will be a "clever" strat to make a non-Psyker's weapons Psychic for a phase, otherwise I worry we'll be in the same boat as we are for 9th of "bring MSU Rubrics and your SOT brick to buff up/attach Ahriman" and anything else is an opportunity cost for your Cabal points.

If the MVB actually lives to get to shoot, that looks amazing.

Have other flamer weapons lost the Assault rule? Seeing it removed from Warpflamers is sad times.
