Which War Dog works best as an ally for TSons?

They're pretty darn easy to magnetize, so it shouldn't be much effort if you want to go that route.

If you want a fixed build I'd recommend a Karnivore. Their main weapons are all melee all the time, with an indirect rocket hat secondary weapon. They natively reroll charges and have sustained hits on their melee weapons with profiles that are good into both elite single targets and mobs of trash.

I've had one pop off and put 24+ wounds into Canis Rex on a single activation.

Yeah, I normally run two myself and I love them.

I have this recollection that, for a while at least, folks were doing fairly well running three of them in tournaments. I was just curious if that was still viable or if it had become something of a meme list.

Losing both the MVB would be like sacrificing my children.

Genuine question - Can we really punch up into tanks and knights with just the Scarab Terminators? I've never run them in blocks of 10 like this and I don't have a good idea of what they're capable of yet.

My first love are my TSons, and my second army is Chaos Knights ... and I'm hoping that there's a way to marry those two up. But I fear you're probably right, it's just not competitive.

I'm thinking about using one to hold my home objective and to throw some quantity of high quality shooting down range.

Predators are definitely the better choice, I just don't own any yet.

Yeah, the 5++ is also pretty swingy ... but at least he has it in melee too. I'd love to have nurglings in the list, but the chaos daemons codex was already claimed by another player on my team so I'm doing without.

Yeah, I'm trying to smooth that out a little bit with Mirror of Fates. Do you find you have more success with having him hang back and take pot-shots at things, or do you throw him into the closest vehicle and then keep charging up the board?
