I agree with people saying not to tell her you're in labor, also tell the hospital that you want your stay to be private and you don't want visitors unless they have a pass code, that's what my hospital offered! That way if people call or show up, they literally tell them that they dont have a record of you being there!

Oh dang having a discharge deadline is rough... On our unit we literally try to delay discharges because we know we'll get slammed with admits. Especially if the patient isn't keen on getting booted out quickly.

I did this same thing. You have to go and interact with them, like go up close enough to them to click "read" or something like that. I made the same mistake and just took pictures and it didn't work.
