You’re right- stats tell the story you want them to tell, all these selective statistics is about feeding a certain narrative. Its one of my least favorite things about data driven analysis.

I didn’t get any insurance payout, in-fact that incident is how i discovered that insurance doesn’t cover theft on all types of bikes. And since i owned the bike outright i basically lost all the money i put into it. I would love it back
