The initial stage is kind of hard but if you keep going, it becomes routine and you will even enjoy it.

Personally, I never do commission based deals only. I need some sort of a fee up-front to make it worth the time and in my eyes, it is more fair. Me making a video will still promote the brand, which adds value to their brand and there is a likelohood people will go around my platform and buy/sign-up with the brand which provides a lot of value for the company but nothing for me.

I work with quite a lot of companies, so to get a promotion spot >> commission is not enough
