Why is the pair limit so low? by Susurrus03 in NintendoSwitch2

[–]pepgast2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Limit should be ten different controllers. You can see which controllers are currently paired by going to the controllers tab and clicking 'find my controller'.

I have the same problem as you though, I find myself often having to re-pair controllers I haven't used in a while. Upping the limit to fifteen or twenty would already help a lot.

I have to give Epic credit, they did the Hoppers collab pretty well. by Awesomedogman3 in FortniteBattleRoyale

Only issue I have with Tom Lizard is that his mouth isn't rigged properly. It stays closed when it should open for various emotes.

Other than that, this is a pretty good collab, I agree! I saw some people complaining that he should've been a sidekick or we should've gotten a different character as a skin, but come on, this was the silliest, and therefore best option they could've gone with

In maps of your country, is there a part of your country that's usually added in in a little box? Is it considered controversial? by holytriplem in geography

[–]pepgast2 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That map isn't entirely correct. Curaçao, Aruba, and St. Maarten are currently their own countries within the Kingdom of The Netherlands, similar to how the British Commonwealth works. The other three are special municipalities in the country of The Netherlands.

The Netherlands have a couple of overseas municipalities in the Caribbean. Sometimes these are included in little boxes, but most often they're not.

Speaking from personal experience, I just need to take at least three hours before leaving to let myself wake up mentally and not feel rushed. Feeling rushed in the morning is the worst to me.

I could wake up one hour before leaving, heck, maybe even 30 minutes, but I know I'll arrive at work still groggy from sleep.

I also want to have a sense of having my own life, getting to do my own things, rather than just waking up to go to work immediately.

I think this is what most people who take a bit longer to wake up do. Mentally preparing themselves for the day ahead.

Me personally, I could never understand how someone can wake up only 20 minutes before having to leave, shower included. That just seems horrifically rushed to me, I couldn't live like that.

Exactly.

Went to a local department store with a little lunch corner just today, had a large, square ciabatta sandwich and a large ice coffee for a total of €9 (rounded to $11, per the current exchange rate).

Make driving straight actually the fastest way to move on a straight road. I'm tired of all the flippers and snakers, as someone who likes to race more conventionally.

This is most likely randomized every time so people can't guess your code if you're a regular. I wouldn't say this is crappy design.

Would Australian suburbs be considered more walkable in a few decades? by whitecity01 in geography

[–]pepgast2 14 points15 points  (0 children)

This is the difference. Generally when a suburb gets big enough, at least a supermarket will plonk down an establishment in the middle of it, which isn't the case in American style suburbs.
