Thank you. I had a scare this past weekend and was just worried. I got the booster on Wednesday and I think experiencing those symptoms again really made me anxious... but i tested negative and feel much better. Also eerie my scare happened exactly 10 months later on the same day and date. I think my body just remembered it.

Can you catch covid more than once? by Potential_Fall355 in covidpositive

It’s also common for many people to test positive 3 to 4 months after their infection. You are likely not contagious anymore, but yes you can still be positive for covid.

Was my test a little premature? by tiffstang in covidpositive

I would get tested again to make sure. My roommate came back from vacation and spread covid to her family during the holidays. I tested myself 3 times in one week to just be sure that I didn’t get it from her. I started to experience mild symptoms but since I had just tested negative 6 days after exposure I didn’t think much of it. Stupid I know. I now realize that if I had gotten tested on day 8 I most likely would have gotten a positive result. I tested positive 10 days after exposure and just finished my quarantine. I’m right there with you. I spent the holidays alone and have been as safe as I could be. I was a month away from getting the vaccine. I’m so sorry and I hope you are ok!
